Canadian Multicultural Education Foundation is a non-profit society founded in 1990 to promote public awareness of the opportunities and benefits of an evolving multicultural society in Canada.

We hope this website will assist Canadians to deepen and broaden their understanding of multiculturalism. Included are articles and events of interest to the multiculturalism education community and links to other organizations doing similar work. Your suggestions and input are welcome.

What's New

Multiculturalism Symposium

In the month of March 2012, the Canadian Multicultural Education Foundation and key partners will host a full day forum at Grant MacEwan University with diverse stakeholders to commemorate and reflect upon Canada’s Multiculturalism Policy after forty years and build strategies and plans for action. The forum will provide a unique opportunity for over 100 policy makers, academics, community leaders, youth leaders and organizations to dialogue on our shared history of multiculturalism and related policy but also to explore its evolution and continuing importance in Canada’s diverse mosaic.
